If you like to make money online, my advice is go to buy your own domain name and hosting for your blog, then you only have better chance to make more money. I am still using blogspot. Which domain host that you are using? I am planning to have my own domain and host.
I would also like to ask for your advice on WordPress Themes. To use those wordpress theme, is it correct that I must have my own domain. I also plan to change to wordpress soon.

Unless you register free wordpress blog at wordpress.com (wordpress blog is not allowed advertising)
Otherwise you have to buy your own domain and hosting, then use wordpress platform to start your blog. you can download wordpress at wordpress.org.
Upload the wordpress to your hosting, and then also upload the theme to your hosting.
