I owned two credit cards now, one of them is reserved for emergency use only. The purpose I applied my first credit card is to buy an expensive laptop with 0% interest rates.
Nowadays I do not need to carry a lot of cash, I can keep the credit cards in my wallet. In case I lose my wallet, I can easily call and cancel my credit cards. I will try to build a good credit rating for myself, when I need a loans later in life, this good credit card history will help me get my loan.
