What is the best font size to use in web design

What is the best font size to use in web design? Actually there is no “best font size”. My blog is using 76%/1.6em font size. In fact I also don’t know the best font size for my blog, some of my friends have made complaint about my font size too small; small amount of people said it is too big. Anyway, I think the current font size is perfectly OK for me, I didn’t listen to anybody. :P
