After checking the total amount of my savings account, I think I have some extra money to do some investment. I will not going to put this extra money to fix deposits due to the low interest rate. The smart people like me will put my money to public mutual bond fund.
For those people who put their money in fix deposits, you are doing half thing right and half thing wrong. The right thing is you know how to put your money to work, the wrong thing is you choose the wrong investment option to put your money to work.
I ask you, I assume inflation rate is 3.0% per year, and your fix deposit’s interests is 3.5%, do you know you gain how much actually? The answer is 0.5%. so?
Just thinking about stuff like this gives me a better sense of what I’m doing. Sites like this are really helping people who just don’t have anywhere else to get this kind of information.
