Although government is raising the price of petroleum products, diesel and LPG, the price of petrol and diesel in Malaysia is still cheaper compared to the price of most of these products in the Asean countries except for Brunei Darussalam.

Yes, this statement is true, but our salary is low and this can be a big burden for us. Let say I get salary RM1,800 for IT executive position and working in Melaka Town, and I go to work by car. After deduct EPF 11% from RM1,800, the balance is RM1602. I need to spend about RM450 for car petrol and lunch RM150, so I still have RM1002.

From RM1002, I take RM200 and give to my mum for home application, RM50 for telephone bill, RM120 for Insurance fee, RM550 for car installment, do you what is the balance of my salary after deduct all these expenses? The answer is RM82.

Everything is rising on the price now and how I going to survive with this salary? I don’t know how to answer you!
