Create Shiny Starburst Effect Using Photoshop

Just follow the 6 steps as below to create shiny starburst effect using photoshop.

1. Create a new file and press D to set the default background and foreground color. Press Alt + Backspace to fill the black color. Right click the current layer and choose Duplicate Layer in order to create another layer.

2. Select the Gradient Tool from the toolbar, place the cursor at the bottom of the canvas, click and drag it to the top of the canvas. Now you can see the black and white gradient filled.

3. Go to Filter > Distort > Wave. (set Number of Generatos=10; Type=Square)

4. Go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates. No need to change anything, just click OK button.

5. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation. Check the Colorize option, change the setting to Hue (200), Saturation (25), and Lightness (0).

6. Go to Filter > Lender > Lighting Effect and set the light type to Omni, let other setting to be default.
