Long time I didn’t enter to cssremix.com because previously this website got hacked. Today I have tried to visit CSS Remix again, surprising to know that it work fine now. I was thinking that this website will be gone after hacked. Anyway, I like to visit CSS Remix because I can find many good web 2.0 HTML/CSS websites.
This is a great tool called thumbalizr which you can take screenshots of any webpage you want. With the assistance of thumbalizr, I don’t need to waste so much time to create screenshots using Photoshop now. You can choose between a screenshot with a fixed height of the screen or the complete webpage. All you need to do is type the URL of your website or blog, select the mode (screen or page), then click “thumb it” button. Finally just click on the resolution-links (320, 640, 800, 1024 or 1280 pixel width) and download it, that’s all.
If you like web design like me, I found the resources of web design which might be useful for you, I definitely like it. There have a lot of links for HTML and CSS tutorials, Perl resources, search engine optimization, HTML color codes and swatches, CSS layout and examples and many others. I don’t have too much time to read now, but I already bookmarked this site now for my future reference.
What is the best font size to use in web design? Actually there is no “best font size”. My blog is using 76%/1.6em font size. In fact I also don’t know the best font size for my blog, some of my friends have made complaint about my font size too small; small amount of people said it is too big. Anyway, I think the current font size is perfectly OK for me, I didn’t listen to anybody.

I found at tool called color scheme generator which I think it is very useful for me when I want to design website or blog. Sometimes I feel hard to find matching colors to be used in web design or blog design, normally I what I do is I will simply pick my favorite colors by using Photoshop, this is very time consuming and even sometimes I cannot find the good match of colors. With the assistance of color scheme generate, I can easily find those good matching colors that can be used in web design and blog design now. Yeah!
I was thinking that if you are interested in blogging, you should at least know a little bit about HTML. Basically you have to understand how to create the link and image link if you use blog. I know there are a lot of software that can help you to create simple web pages even you don’t familiar in HTML, but I think it is more better if you know the basic of HTML if you want to create web pages or blog.
If you want to know the basic of HTML, there is a site called htmlPlayground which provides you an interface to show the example code and example result of HTML. If you are interested in learning of HTML, just spend some time to explorer it.
