Last week, my streamyx internet connection suddenly cut off, after that I called my friends who live in same area with me to check whether their streamyx internet connection is available or not. This is first step normally I will do.

I felt strange why all of my friend can online but I can’t, then I start to ping default gateway (192.168.1.1) by using command prompt. OK, ping responded, which mean that modem still function, cable connection also OK. After confirm modem is OK, I ping streamyx DNS (202.188.0.133 or 202.188.1.5), unfortunately request time out. If you cannot ping streamyx DNS, most probably the DSL and PPP light on the modem will be off.

Nothing to do with the modem and my computer, then I dial 100 to ask for help. I have a lot of experiences how to solve the problem if you cannot online using streamyx, you might interest to read this article too.

Last time I don’t know we actually can connect to several MSN account simultaneously, what I will do is open one installed MSN under program files, and then go to another account using msn web messenger. I thought we only can use maximum two accounts at the same time.

That was wrong actually. We actually can connect to several MSN account simultaneously with the helps of Messenger Plus. After you install Messenger Plus, you go to “Plus!” menu > choose Preference > select Messenger tab, and then tick the option of “connect to several MSN account simultaneously”. Restart the MSN, that’s all!
