Tools and Resource for Spell Checker

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

I’m using Firefox 2.0 to surf net and I know Firefox 2.0 has built in spell checker that works inside web forms. However, I’m preferred to use Microsoft Word to create my new post for my blog, not only I can check the spelling while it helps to check the grammar error as well. Well, there are lots of tools and resources for checking on the internet, like browsers (Firefox and IESpell for IE), online tools (SpellChecker.net and Orangoo), TextTrust.com, open source software and more. Be sure you check it out the post titled tools and resource for spell checker at SponsoredReviews.com

Is Google Slowly Update Page Rank (PR)

Monday, August 13th, 2007

I heard my friend said Google already slowly updated Page Rank (PR) in August, she said her hubby blog already got PR3 now. I’m not sure whether this is true or not because I didn’t noticed that her hubby blog is still PR0 last month. I assumed that if her hubby blog is PR0 last month, and now is PR3, then I can confirm that Google already slowly updated PR recently. We also not sure when are our turn, but I hope you can get our expected PR and good luck to you. To me, I expected my blog can get PR4 since now is PR3, but I wish I can get PR5 which I think this is not big possibility. Good luck to me too! Cheers~

P/S: Let me know if this is true. :)

Don’t Worry, Blogitive Still Global

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

I was wondering why there is no any offer comes out at Blogitive since these two weeks after Blogitive requested bloggers to update their Tax Info (non U.S bloggers no need to fill in Tax info, just tick “I am NOT an American citizen”).

Why I’m guessing is may be Blogitive also do the location segmentation like PPP, there is be no less offers for non U.S bloggers. Honestly, I dislike location segmentation like PPP has been done, obviously we already can seen less opps are available in the marketplace for non US blogger, especially Asia blogger. I don’t know, may be some of you agreed location segmentation, but I strongly not welcome for this feature.

This is what I worry about Blogitive will do the same like PPP, and then I wrote them an email yesterday and I got the reply as below:-

“Don’t worry, we’re still global — we’re just having a slow week as we work on resolving some client campaign issues due to the recent changes. Things should be back to normal shortly.”

I hope this is true, I’m so worry to lose another source of online income. In addition, I’m supporter of Blogitive all along.

Special Thanks to Cheryl from Blogsvertise

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

My blog couldn’t be showed up in the past two days ago due to the hosting server having some critical issue. According to Brickfields Data Centre, one of the customers in DC BRF suffered severe attack. This caused very bad congestion at their network. During the attack, the bandwidth utilization was twice as much as normal traffic. They have blocked this particular customer from being attacked. That’s the reason why I cannot access to my blog.

This is second time my hosting server down, when this situation happen, my sponsored post from PPP and Blogsvertise have been rejected for payment and approval. Some more I cannot bid the sponsoredreviews.com offers and I cannot grab PPP opps. In other words, I cannot make money online if the hosting server down.

I have two tasks have been rejected by Blogsvertise as they cannot find my URL and one task is expired because their system cannot detect my link. In fact I already completed all these tasks early. When hosting server is OK, I have tried to resubmit all my rejected and pending tasks, unfortunately these tasks showed message “Your task is expired”.

I’m so angry with my hosting company, I kept complaining them and asked them to compensate my lose. Although my hosting seems OK but they will monitor on the condition up to 72 hours before concluding the issue is resolved, I have never receive their reply. What they have replied is not the answer that I want. See, damn poor service. I will not pointing out this hosting company, but if they keep on giving me trouble, I will suggest you not to use my hosting service provider.

Anyway, thanks to Cheryl from Blogsvertise for reassigning the tasks to me so that I can resubmit the tasks again. I must say you really done a good job and this is what we so called good service.

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

KNNMCC! My posts are rejected by PPP and Blogsvertise for payment and approval respectively due to my web hosting server down, my site didn’t showing up from 12.00am until 5/6am. Do you know because of hosting down, I cannot grab the opps at PPP; I cannot bid the Sponsored Reviews offers and more? WTF, this is only the first time it happen to me, please don’t give me the same problem again and again in next future, otherwise I will let people know what is the hosting company that I’m using and I will write you a free review for your poor service. *sigh*

Check Who is the Hosting

Friday, July 27th, 2007

I always refer to my friends to check which hosting they are using for their blogs before I create my own domain blog last time. Instead of asking your friends or the owner of the website or blog, now you can check who is the hosting of your favorite websites or blogs.

This is a tool that enables you to find out who is hosting any web site. Simply type in any domain name, and you’ll get a link to the company that’s hosting this particular domain.
