I felt strange why my blog suddenly showed files not found page, and then I tried to connect to my hosting by used Filezilla, I want to investigate what is the problem.
When I click on the public_html folder, all the files under this folder disappeared, I’m so worry because I didn’t backup my files before. In case I can’t retrieve back the files, I’m sure I will cry because painstaking effort gone suddenly.
I tried this way, I uploaded the wordpress files which is downloaded from wordpress.org again, and then uploaded the theme and plug in. After upload all the files, I refresh my blog page again. Wow! It showing the contents, which means that my blog database still existed. But when I click on the next page, or the title of the posts, it show page not found again. What the hell!
I kept trying the delete all the files under public_html and upload again, at last the result still the same. I fed up and no mood. When the time I give up and get ready to close the Filezilla software, I simply clicked several folders in my hosting. huh?! Why another public_html under public_ftp folder? This is wrong, I know public_html cannot put under public_ftp, and then I clicked on public_html under public_ftp to check the files inside this folder. Wow again! I got it, these are the files shouldn’t be put under public_ftp, they should be located at public_html.
After I move all the files to the right folder, yeah! Finally my blog worked fine, it is back to normal, thanks god!
